Spring is around the corner, and the hens are laying again! CUESA celebrates the abundance of eggs at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market with a day of tasting, learning, and cooking.
Egg Activities (10 am - 1 pm)
Make your own aioli, and learn how to make natural Easter egg dyes using farmers market ingredients.
Pasture-Raised Eggs 101 Talk (10 am)
Pasture-raised, free-range, cage-free, conventional—what's the difference? A lot! Learn what it takes to bring true pasture-raised eggs to market from three Ferry Plaza farmers, including Nigel Walker of Eatwell Farm and Charlie Sowell of Rolling Oaks Ranch.
Egg-Themed Seasonal Cooking Demos

12 pm Robin Song, Hog & Rocks
All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
