Double K Christmas Tree Farm prides themselves on selling long-lasting, old-fashioned, sustainably grown Christmas trees. The farm is located 5,000 feet above sea level next to a national forest. Bill is a licensed professional forester and he currently plants ten new trees for every tree harvested. Also, to help sustain the land, every tree harvested is left with a whorl of branches, enabling the cut tree to recycle itself into another tree. Many of the large trees are preserved to give the farm a forested appearance similar to the surrounding national forest. The trees are also raised completley without pesticides.
The trees are watered only with rain and snow.
