Visit These Farmers Market Sellers to Support Fire Relief Efforts

The Bay Area food and farm community has rallied to support the victims of the North Bay wildfires. A number of CUESA’s farmers market sellers have been contributing to North Bay fire relief efforts, donating produce and products, or preparing fresh meals for people in need.

Some of our market sellers have been directly impacted. Kendra and Paul Kolling, of The Farmer’s Wife and Nana Mae’s Organics, and their three children lost their home in the fires. You can contribute directly to their family fund here, and support their stand at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market on Saturdays and Thursdays.

You can also help by visiting these businesses at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, who will be donating a portion of their market proceeds this week to fire relief efforts (by no means a definitive list).

More Ways to Help

Stop by the CUESA Classroom on Saturday, October 21, to learn about SF Fights Fire, a relief effort organized by our local restaurant community, and find out how you can support their efforts in the North Bay. CUESA volunteers will be preparing food to donate through SF Fights Fire, so you can watch the action in the kitchen as well.
