Yes, We Are Open During Super Bowl 50

Super Bowl 50 (SB50) is coming to San Francisco. Justin Herman Plaza, across from the Ferry Building, will be transformed for Super Bowl City, a free outdoor fan village featuring family-friendly activities, concerts, and more.

CUESA will operate our regular Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday Ferry Plaza Farmers Markets throughout Super Bowl City. We encourage our regular shoppers to use public transportation and shop early to avoid the crowds.

Street closures and transit impacts: Please expect street closures and transit impacts from January 23 through February 11 and plan accordingly. Southbound lanes of the Embarcadero between Washington to Mission will be closed to all vehicular traffic.

Access: From January 30 through February 7, security measures surrounding Super Bowl City will limit access to the event streets. There will be security check points to pass through Super Bowl City. To avoid Super Bowl City, walk down Mission or Washington, then along the east sidewalk of the Embarcadero to the Ferry Building (map).

BART: During Super Bowl City, BART will close the Embarcadero Station entrance/exit to Market Street near Spear Street, with the exception of 6:45 am to 9:45 am from January 30 to February 7. See the BART website for details.

Parking: We recommend that Saturday shoppers park at the Golden Gateway Garage at 250 Clay Street (always the best deal on Saturdays; just $3 with validation at the CUESA Info Booth!). There may be some impacts to the garage at Embarcadero 4. The 8 Washington Seawall lot will be open, but is likely to fill up early.
