Sowing an Equitable Future for Farmers

Farming is a public service that is vital to our communities, but it has always been a precarious business with countless risks, environmental unknowns, and razor-thin profits. For most farmers, challenges include access to affordable land, capital, and markets. But what if you are an under-resourced first-time farmer? How can we address structural barriers for women, people of color, immigrants, and others who are stewarding the land while bringing good food to our tables?

Join CUESA and California FarmLink for a conversation with farmers whose hands are in the soil and whose eyes are on the future. Learn from their first-hand experience overcoming these challenges and find out how we can focus our collective energies to create opportunities for beginning farmers. Know and support your local farmer for an inclusive and regenerative food future for all!
