Seasonal Cooking Demo: Robert Wemischner

Saturday, February 25, 2012 - 11:45am to 12:30pm

Stop by the CUESA kitchen for a tea-themed cooking demo in honor of the International Tea Festival.

Pastry chef and culinary educator Robert Wemischner has always been intrigued by the flavor potential of ingredients, from turmeric to tea and from cumin to coffee. He is the author of Cooking with Tea, a book that explores healthy ways to incorporate tea into dishes both sweet and savory, and features useful information about sourcing, brewing, and enjoying tea. Robert will be demonstrating how to cook with tea and signing his cookbook. He will also be participating in the International Tea Festival upstairs in the Ferry Building from 10 am to 5 pm.

All demos take place under the white tents in front of the the north arcade and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
