Anna Derivi-Castellanos and Lenore Estrada

Saturday, May 25, 2013 - 12:00pm to 12:45pm

Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Coming from California’s Central Valley, Anna Derivi-Castellanos and Lenore Estrada are the two remaining partners behind Three Babes Bakeshop. They offer seasonal pies using local ingredients and are based in San Francisco’s Mission District. Their mission is to promote social, environment, and economic justice in the Central Valley. Three Babes have a strong commitment to creating positive change in their community by sourcing many of their ingredients from Central Valley famers.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) at 11 am and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.

CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) is dedicated to cultivating a sustainable food system through the operation of farmers markets and educational programs. Learn More »
