CUESA | Market to Table Demo: Michael Siegel

Ferry Plaza Farmers Market »

Sat 8am–2pm | Tue & Thu 10am–2pm

Michael Siegel

Saturday, April 6, 2013 - 11:00am to 11:45am

Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Chef Siegel recently opened a Jewish deli concept in San Francisco’s Financial District. Influenced by his Jewish heritage, the restaurant is called Shorty Goldstein’s and features family recipes of challah, knishes, and homemade smoked pastrami. Siegel previously was the chef de cuisine at Betelnut, an Asian restaurant, for the past five years.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) at 11 am and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
