Stone Fruit Celebration

Saturday, August 10, 2013 - 10:00am to 1:00pm

Summer is in full swing, and the farmers market is brimming with stone fruit, from peaches and nectarines to pluots and peacotums. CUESA celebrates the juiciness of stone fruit season at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market with a day of tasting, learning, and cooking.

10:00 am - 1:00 pm: Sample stone fruit shrub sodas and varieties they’re made from. Visit our educational display, pick up recipes, and play the “What’s Your Stone Fruit Name?” game!

Enjoy stone fruit-themed cooking demos in the CUESA Classroom:

11:00: Christopher Thompson, A16

12:00: Dmitry Elperin, The Village Pub

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
