Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, followed by a book signing.

Bryant Terry is a chef, educator, and author renowned for his activism to create a healthy, just, and sustainable food system. Bryant’s latest book, Afro-Vegan, was released in April. He is also the author of the critically acclaimed Vegan Soul Kitchen. Bryant’s work has been featured in The New York Times, The Washington Post, The San Francisco Chronicle, NPR’s All Things Considered, O: The Oprah Magazine, Colorlines, and Vegetarian Times, among many other publications. Bryant presents frequently as a keynote speaker at community events, conferences, and colleges, including Brown University, Columbia University, NYU, Stanford University and Yale University.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
