Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Charles Vollmar is a chef, cooking instructor, foods and wellness consultant, writer, lifestyle coach and owner of Epicurean Exchange. A graduate of the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, his classes and work emphasize essential skill and technique work, wellness, prevention and lifestyle enrichment topics relating to cooking, nutrition, fitness and foods appreciation and exploration.

Epicurean Exchange was founded in 1999 by Chef Charles with the belief that awareness, simply applied, will help us define and meet professional and personal goals. Following his training at Chez Panisse Restaurant and Cafe, and Wente Vineyards, Livermore, Chef Charles Vollmar managed and taught at several prominent Bay Area cooking schools. Presently, his days are spent teaching in his Orinda home school, at top-notch culinary schools, designing custom wellness programs for individuals and corporate clients, facilitating interactive workshops and conducting exclusive excursions and culinary travel programs.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
