Citrus and Cocktails Workshop

Wednesday, February 19, 2014 - 5:30pm to 7:30pm

Join Chef Luis Villavelazquez for a night of bittersweet concoctions. This hands-on workshop will help you understand the complex flavors of California’s citrus bounty. We’ll create a marmalade, a dessert, and delicious elixirs that play on the sweet, tart, bitter, and sour flavors of citrus and the roasted depth of mezcal. Mezcal Tosba will be donating the mezcal for this exclusive workshop

About the Instructor: Luis Villavelazquez began his career at Citizen Cake and Orson at age 18. For the last several years, he served as the lead pastry chef at Absinthe and Arlequin, and then sold pastry under the name Les Éléments Patisserie.

Location: CUESA Dacor Outdoor Teaching Kitchen at San Francisco’s Landmark Ferry Building (South Arcade)

Cost: $30. Tickets are nonrefundable. No one under 21 years old will be admitted.
