Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, followed by a book signing.

Pooja Mottl is based in Connecticut and is the author of The 3-Day Reset: Restore Your Cravings For Healthy Foods in Three Easy, Empowering Days, and is a professionally trained Natural Foods Chef.  She is a graduate of the Natural Gourmet Institute, a world-renowned culinary school that focuses on healthy-supportive, whole-foods cuisine, with an emphasis on traditional, unrefined ingredients.  Pooja also holds a certificate in Plant Based Nutrition from Cornell University.  Pooja has appeared on Good Morning America, WGN TV, Martha Stewart Radio, Style.com, the Green Festival, HuffPost Live, and a variety of additional media outlets.  Pooja’s gold standard for “real food” is a concept she refers to in The 3-Day Reset as WAMP, which stands for Whole and Minimally Processed Food.  Pooja began her career as a Wall Street investment banker and an economic analyst before falling head over heels in love with healthy cooking and food.  

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the white tents in front of the Ferry Building) at 11 am and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
