Schoolyard to Market: Life Learning Academy

Tuesday, November 14, 2017 - 10:00am to 2:00pm

Schoolyard to Market is back at CUESA’s farmers markets for the fall season! Local high school students are bringing their school garden produce to market as part of CUESA’s youth development, gardening and entrepreneurship program. Support garden-based learning and edible education by shopping at the Schoolyard to Market booth on the following days:

Tuesday, November 14, Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, SF (10 am to 2 pm): Life Learning Academy students will be selling honey from their beehive, dried culinary and tea herbs, cut flowers, and handmade lemon curd, sauerkraut, and shrubs, all using products from their school garden.

Saturday, December 2, Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, SF (8 am to 2 pm): The Academy - San Francisco @ McAteer students will be selling their veggies and herbs.

Sunday, December 3, Jack London Square Farmers Market, Oakland (10 am to 3 pm): Life Learning Academy students will be selling their plant starts, herbs, and honey from their beehive.

Saturday, December 16, Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, SF (8 am to 2 pm): Life Learning Academy students will be selling honey from their beehive, dried culinary and tea herbs, cut flowers, and handmade lemon curd, sauerkraut, and shrubs, all using products from their school garden.
