Closed-Loop Cocktails: Hands-on Class with El Tesoro Tequila

Saturday, September 7, 2019 - 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Craft inventive, zero-waste cocktails featuring the summer’s best produce!

CUESA and El Tesoro® invite you to the CUESA Kitchen for an afternoon of farm-fresh cocktails in the heart of San Francisco’s iconic Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. This immersive cocktail class will showcase the art of zero-waste cocktails. Transform juicy, peak-season stone fruit into delicious artisan cocktails, while reducing food waste and using every last bit!

You’ll receive hands-on instruction by a dynamic duo of cocktail professionals, El Tesoro Brand Ambassador Luis Navarro and Elmer Mejicanos of Lillie Coit's. This unique class blends the history and knowledge of industry vets with practical tricks of the trade you can’t get anywhere else.

Join us!

About CUESA

Since launching the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market 25 years ago, CUESA’s mission has been to bring farmers and urban dwellers of all ages together to create a world where fresh, sustainably grown food is at the center of everyone’s plate, and family farming is viable for generations to come. Proceeds from the class provide vital funds for CUESA’s education programs like Foodwise Kids and Schoolyard to Market, which empower the next generation of healthy eaters.

About El Tesoro®

El Tesoro® is a truly unique, ultra-premium tequila that is double-distilled to proof. Created in the painstakingly traditional way, El Tesoro® uses a Tahona wheel to crush the agave piñas before distillation at La Alteña Distillery, founded in 1937 by Don Felipe Camarena.
