Celebrate Halloween and Día de los Muertos with food, music, and family activities at Mission Community Market on Thursday, October 31.

  • Bring the kids in costume for face painting (5:30-7:00) and visit the CUESA Info Booth for a farmers market treat.
  • Pick up your Halloween pumpkin at Hale’s Apple Farm’s pop-up pumpkin patch.
  • Pick up locally grown flowers and ofrenda food items from your favorite MCM sellers, plus decorative crafts from pop-up seller Bella’s Boutique.
  • Take part in paper flower (flores de papel) making with Casa Bonampak.

Mission Community Market takes place on 22nd Street between Mission and Valencia. The market is accessible from the 24th Street BART station, as well as the 14, 49, and other MUNI lines. Find Bay Area transit information, maps, and schedules at www.transit.511.org.
