10th Anniversary of Mission Community Market

Thursday, August 6, 2020 - 3:00pm to 7:00pm

This National Farmers Market Week, celebrate 10 years of Mission Community Market on Thursday, August 6! Founded in 2010, Mission Community Market, also known as Mission Mercado, is an open-air marketplace made up of farmers, small local businesses, and community programs, promoting family health and creating a fun, beautiful public space for the Mission District. Learn more about the history of the market.

While we are not able to host live music or other activities due to market safety protocols, the market will be festively decorated. Stock up on peak-summer produce, and join us in thanking the local farmers, food entrepreneurs, and neighbors (you!) who have made this market so special for the last 10 years.

Be sure to stop by the CUESA Info Booth to enter a raffle to win a farmers market goodie bag, including a free tote, cookbook, and market coins.

Connect with us on Instagram at @missionmercado and share your market photos and memories at #missionmercado.

Mission Community Market takes place on Thursdays, 3 to 7 pm, on 22nd Street (between Mission and Valencia) and Bartlett Street in San Francisco’s Mission neighborhood. The market is accessible from the 24th Street BART station, as well as the 14, 49, and other MUNI lines. Find Bay Area transit information, maps, and schedules at transit.511.org.

CUESA farmers markets accept EBT (CalFresh/food stamps). Customers using EBT can double their dollars (up to $10 per market day) through the Market Match program, which offers free market coins redeemable only for fruits and vegetables.

The farmers market is open as an essential service. For your safety and the safety of your community, please always wear a mask and practice social distance in the farmers market. For our COVID-19 response, updates, and market protocols, visit cuesa.org/covid19.
