Stop by the CUESA Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

Jillian Knox is an interdisciplinary creative polymath based in San Francisco, California. She currently works as a food stylist and storyteller. Jillian’s focus on culinary history and community are some of her top priorities. Her work has appeared in Bon Appetit, GRAVY Magazine, and the February 2020 “Original Innovators” issue of Food & Wine Magazine (February 2020) and The Baja California Cookbook by David Castro Hussong and Jay Porter (Ten Speed Press; releasing March 17, 2020).

She will demonstrate vegan contemporary recipes that utilize African American ingredients.

All demos take place in the CUESA Classroom (under the tents in front of the Ferry Building) and are free to the public, with recipes and samples for all.
