Chamomile

Best known for the aromatic herbal tea they produce, chamomile flowers are believed to promote restorative sleep, reduce anxiety, and even fight off cancer cells. The light, sweet flavor of chamomile makes it popular in a variety of desserts, such as honey and chamomile panna cotta or almond and chamomile cookies. A highly healing herb, chamomile can also be made into a salve for treating wounds or burns, a vapor to relieve respiratory illnesses, or a compress to sooth the skin.
