Thai chile peppers

The Thai chile (also known as a bird chile, due to its resemblance to a bird’s beak) is a tiny scorcher, commonly used in Southeast Asian cuisine. It registers 50,000–100,000 Scoville heat units, more than 10 times as hot as  jalapeño.
