Farmers Market Gift Certificates & Market Coins

Give the gift of fresh, locally grown food and handcrafted treats, while supporting local farms and food crafters!

CUESA Farmers Market Gift Certificates

Nourish your friends and family by letting them choose their own delicious gift with a CUESA Farmers Market Gift Certificate. Purchase a gift certificate by emailing [email protected] or calling 415.291.3276 x 103. Gift certificates can be purchased in any whole dollar amount.

We’ll provide a paper gift certificate that must be redeemed by your recipient at the CUESA Info Booth. In return, they will receive the designated amount in market coins to spend at any stand at CUESA’s farmers markets (details below).  There are no refunds or cash exchanges for CUESA gift certificates or market coins.

Our farmers market gift certificates also make great corporate gifts!

CUESA’s gift certificates have no expiration date and are redeemable at any of CUESA’s farmers markets, including the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market and Mission Community Market. Click here for our farmers markets days and hours.

How CUESA’s Market Coins Work

CUESA market coins are in $1 denominations and can be redeemed at any outdoor stand at CUESA’s Farmers Markets. This allows you to shop at the farm stands selling fresh produce and flowers, stalls selling prepared foods such as cheeses and breads, and outdoor restaurants selling ready-to-eat food.

There is no cash back available through this system. Your purchases will round up or down to a whole dollar—unless you have small change to make up the difference in the price of your purchase.

The coins are not accepted by the private retail establishments inside the Ferry Building.

If you have any questions, please call the office at 415-291-3276 x103 or speak with one of CUESA’s representatives at the CUESA Info Booth on a market day.

As of April 1, 2017, all market coin purchases with Square at the Info Booth will be assessed a 2.75% service fee.
