Anna Svedise, along with 4 full-time employees

Specializing in local, wild sashimi-grade fish and sustainable seafood, Anna’s Seafood offers over 100 fresh and live varieties, including Wild Pacific King Salmon, sea urchin, mussels, and crabs. Anna grew up prepping and selling seafood for her parents’ business in the North Bay. Her years of experience prepared her to finally open her own business in 2016. In addition to farmers markets, Anna also operates a shop and kitchen in Petaluma, where her staff prepares cioppino, tuna salad, roasted salmon, and other seafood specialties.

Anna works with trusted seafood brokers mostly from the West Coast, who use sustainable fishing methods such as hook-and-line and trap catching. Her selection varies based on what is available seasonally.

Fun Fact

Anna’s father, grandfather, and great-grandfather were all fishermen.
