Big Paw began when a basset hound named Tia stumbled upon a large field of sage on a Napa Valley hike. Tia’s discovery inspired her owner to found the business Big Paw Olive Oil Company, creating a series of flavored olive oils and infusions that now number more than 20. Apricot lavender and other flavors are available seasonally, while classic varieties of extra virgin olive oil are available year round. Balsamic vinegars, bread dips, meat rubs, and flavored ketchups complete Big Paw’s offerings. Small-batch bottles are produced in house with a hand selection of herbs and spices.   


Big Paw sources California certified reserve grove olives from up and down the state, while all other ingredients are sourced locally from farmers markets. Bottles and labels are produced in San Jose.
