About
Farming has been part of the Hale family for 120 years. Dave is one of the few remaining farmers in Sebastopol that continues to honor the tradition of apple farming in the area. Dave practices traditional farming, uses minimal pesticides, and is personally involved with the entire growing and harvesting process to maintain his high production standards. Each apple tree is cared for individually and mostly by hand to ensure the highest quality fruit. Hale’s Apple Farm grows more than 40 varieties of heirloom apples as well as other crops, including heirloom tomatoes and 30 varieties of pumpkins. He delivers fresh fruit to the farmers market, confident in their flavor and freshness.
