King Knish

Ramni Levy

Offering “old world dishes with a new world twist,” Ramni Levy creates handmade knishes, latkes, and condiments that pay tribute to traditional Eastern European snack foods. The knish puff pastry is baked, consisting of a flaky outer crust that is filled with a rotating selection of flavor combinations. Classic fillings such as potato are available alongside more novel flavor combinations like pastrami, wasabi potato, or herb goat cheese. Even when incorporating inventive new flavors, Ramni stays true to traditional preparation techniques.

King Knish’s ingredients are locally sourced and organic, and all their meats are kosher. They are currently working on acquiring a kosher certification.

Fun Fact

There is no right or wrong when it comes to knish. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes, with different folding techniques and fillings. Much of the form is left to its creator!
