Tory Putnam

Pedro and Rosie Medina, along with 15 full-time and 25 part-time employees.

48 acres in Watsonville, California 90 miles from the Jack London Square Farmers Market.

The Medinas have farmed strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries in Watsonville for more than 15 years. Pedro’s father began his career as a berry picker, and eventually purchased his own land. The multi-generation farm employs mostly family year round, along with seasonal employees. Pedro says, “We are a strong family unit and work very hard to keep our business going. We strive to produce quality product and customer service.” Medina Berry Farms is in the process of becoming certified organic.
