Moua's Farm

Ge Moua, her husband, and her children

17 acres in Sacramento

Farm History

Ever since 2010, Moua Farm has provided sustainably-grown organic vegetables which are both healthy and versatile to all customers.  The child of subsistence farmers, Ge farms organically because she can’t imagine doing it any other way. Before their farm became a business operation, we planted and cultivated our vegetables in our small backyard.  They began managing small stalls at farmers markets with the goal of raising a fund for their kids to go to college.  Depending on the season, you might find mustard greens, lettuces, cucumbers, rhubarb, Napa cabbage, Chinese broccoli, bok choy, daikon, taro, or water spinach among the many vegetables, herbs, and flowers at her stand.

Fun Fact

Raised in a small village in the mountains of Laos, Ge learned to farm from her parents, who grew rice, corn, beans, potatoes, and cabbages to feed her family.
