Make your farmers market shopping list! Here’s what’s in season this May:

Returning, plentiful, and at their peak (weather willing):

Blueberries, lettuces, spring onions, hot-house tomatoes and cucumbers, summer squash, rhubarb, cherries, squash blossoms, , apricots, raspberries, heirloom roses, English, Sugar Snap, and Snow peas, edible flowers, strawberries, baby root vegetables, celery, fresh herbs, fava beans, fennel, artichokes, rapini, pastured eggs, cardoons, goat cheese, poppies, cucumbers, new potatoes, elephant garlic

Winding down or only available in limited supply:

Asparagus, potatoes, citrus, nettles, green garlic

Farmer and vendor items not to be missed:
