Make your farmers market shopping list! Here’s what’s in season this March:

Plentiful or returning this month (as always, weather willing): 

Spring onions, edible blossoms, leeks, fresh goat cheese, lamb, dandelion greens, sorrel, miners lettuce, spinach, asparagus, avocados, green garlic, nettles, broccoli, rapini greens, artichokes, carrots, strawberries, mizuna, radishes and radish greens, pastured eggs, baby root vegetables, Ranunculus, tulips

Limited Availability: 

Lilacs, purple asparagus, rhubarb, English peas, fava beans

Winding down:

Brussels sprouts, some citrus varieties
